From January 3 to 6, 2025, the European Grand Prix Final 2024 in Go took place in Karlsruhe, Germany. Sixteen players—both professionals and amateurs—qualified for the tournament by earning bonus points in the 2024 Grand Prix series. The winner is Valerii Krushelnytskyi, 7-dan (Ukraine), who defeated Ali Jabarin, 2p (Israel), in the final. Congratulations!

The 19th Korea Prime Minister Cup International Baduk Championship
The 19th Korea Prime Minister Cup International Baduk Championship took place from September 20 to 26, 2024, in Taebaek, South Korea. The event, organized by the Korea Baduk Association, brought together 60 participants from various countries, competing in seven rounds.
The tournament ended with a victory by Tianyi Liu from China, who won all 7 of his games. Chen-en Chung from Taiwan claimed second place with 6 wins. A major highlight for European Go was Ukraine’s Valerii Krushelnytskyi, who also won 6 games and secured third place, marking the first time since 2015 that a European player reached the podium. Congratulations!
European Women’s Go Championship 2024
On September 14-15, 2024, the European Women’s Go Championship took place in Bratislava, Slovakia. The tournament featured 24 players from various countries. The winner was Li Ting (1 dan, professional) from Austria, who won all five games and defended her title as champion. The second place was taken by Manja Marz (4 dan) from Germany, while the third place went to Olesia Malko (4 dan) from Ukraine. Congratulations!
European Go Championship 2024
From July 28 to August 4, 2024, the European Go Championship took place in Toulouse, France. For the second time in a row, Andrii Kravets (Ukraine, Rivne) became the champion, successfully defending his title. Congratulations to Andrii on reclaiming the championship!

Pandanet Go European Team Championship 2023/2024
From July 26 to 27, 2024, the final of the 2023-2024 European Go Team Championship took place in Toulouse, France. The Ukrainian team took second place, while the French team secured first place. Congratulations to all players and coaches!

European Youth Go Team Championship 2023/24
In the 2023-2024 season, changes occurred, and instead of one championship, two European Youth Go Team Championships were held.
The first youth team championship (European Youth Go Team Competition 2023/24) took place in the usual format, as in previous years, from November 2023 to February 2024. Having won all their matches, the Ukrainian team took first place.
The second youth team championship (1st Pandanet Youth Go European Team Championships) was held from February to May 2024. In a fierce competition, the Ukrainian team once again secured first place.

European Go Championship 2023
On July 23-30 in Leipzig/Markkleeberg, Germany, the European Go Championship 2023 was held. Andriy Kravets (Ukraine, Rivne) became the European champion, winning in the final Ali Jabarin (Israel) by one and a half points. Congratulations!
